Skillet made the concert worth the money!
We went to see Skillet because we are massive fans and they always deliver an amazing concert experience! Rocking out like always, they played all of their greatest hits and were truly awesome. Trapt was not very impressive, but My Darkest Days put on a pretty decent show. I had never heard of them before, but I really enjoyed their sound.
Skillet typically performs alongside other Christian bands, so if you prefer Christian music only, this concert may not be for you. However, if you appreciate Rock music without strictly sticking to Christian genres, then you will definitely have a great time at this concert.
Regarding the venue, we were extremely let down! I had previously enjoyed my experiences at the Pageant, but this time was a complete disaster. Most of the room was sectioned off for alcohol service, forcing minors to stay in a cramped area. Despite the floor not being full, we were told it was, which was clearly not the case. One side of the building was overcrowded with mostly minors, while the other side had plenty of space. The Pageant's organization was very poor this time, and I left feeling very disappointed.
